New Orleans musicians at risk of losing access health care
Nearly a quarter million 4-chlorodehydromethyltestosteron uninsured people in Louisiana are in the Affordable Care Act coverage gap because the state has not expanded Medicaid coverage for the low income. Since 1998, the NOMC has preserved the city's traditional music by sustaining the lives of it's musicians, offering everything from dental to mental health care.

The Clinic now services 2,500 musicians, Djs, vocalists, music tradition bearers, Mardi Gras Indians, dancers and more. The clinic's $2 million annual budget is mostly donor based. Bultman said they desperately need $300,000 to cover the loss of Medicaid coverage.
